Privacy, in plain language.
This short notice describes the information Taavo expects to use during the early Medellín launch. It is a practical MVP starting point, not legal advice.
What we collect
When you create a Taavo account, Clerk processes the identity details needed to authenticate you. Convex stores the Taavo application profile details you choose to provide, such as your first name, role, languages and optional bio. Historical launch-interest submissions are retained; the old email-only form is no longer the primary signup path.
Location
The iOS app may request location permission to check whether you are in the Medellín launch region and to improve nearby venue search. Taavo does not continuously track you or expose your precise location to other people.
How we use information
We use information to operate Taavo, show sessions, support joining decisions and communicate launch updates you requested. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services
Taavo uses Clerk for authentication and Convex for application data. Their services may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
